POUR.ART BOARDS
A combination of the technique acrylic pouring and skateboards: a match made in heaven!
Skate or decorate? People aren't just buying boards to skate but also to hang on their wall and now, that board can be a custom piece of hand-made art! Not just a printed graphic heat stamped on a board.
What makes these skateboards complete is that they're also very skateable! Who doesn't want to have their own unique board to shred the streets and parks?
When ordering a Pour.art board you can choose your own color combination so it will fit you and your style.
HOW ITS MADE
Firstly, I start with taping the edges of the board so that only the back will be painted without errors.
After this I spray the board with a layer of spraypaint, this is the base coat. When this is completely dry I prepare the colors I need for the pour by mixing acrylic paints with floetrol, silicon oil and water.
When everything is mixed properly I choose the technique I want to use and start pouring.
When I'm satisfied with the result it's time for the board to dry for a couple of days. If the board is completely dry, I heat-press a small Pour.art logo on it and give it a clear coat so it will be very shiny and durable! This process takes about 5 days in total.
Now the board is done and ready for shipping!
The skateboards I use are high quality, 100% canadian maple wood, medium concave.
