PHRINE (/'fry-n/), the last part of the word ''Epinephrine'' a.k.a. adrenaline.
This streetwear brand is all about the creative and thrillseeker lifestyle which is a reflection of the life of the creator and owner; Bram van Beveren (26).
Who and Why
A couple of years ago I started to get into streetwear and because I've always kept myself busy with creative stuff like drawing, spraypainting and designing I really wanted to combine these things to see if I could make it work in this industry without any fashion world experience or connections.
Because I know a lot of people like my lifestyle and the stuff I get inspired by like art, graffiti, nature, surfing, animals, adventure, travel, culture, urban sports, hiphop, music, urban exploring and alot of other things, I decided that it would be a good choice to reflect Phrine on the same things to keep it real and stay true to what I live.
One Man Army
Because I run Phrine on the side it is the most cost effective to do everything myself;
This means that I do everything on the creative, production and marketing aspect of the brand. This includes the heat pressing of the designs, sewing/embroidering of the logo's/patches and photography.
Hopefully I can expand Phrine in such a way that I can focus more on designing but for now, this is how it is and I really enjoy learning about every aspect of owning a fashion brand.
Honorable mention: Phrine wouldn't be anywhere without my friends so a very huge shoutout to them for helping out by modeling, promoting and rocking the gear alot!
